Hello!
I grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia, in a family of creators. My father, a landscape architect, encouraged drawing, building and tinkering. My mother, a nurse and master party planner, made me a believer in celebrating all moments and adding an individual touch.
I am a maker and a designer interested in new challenges, being part of a team and returning to my architecture background. I thrive in a collaborative environment and find fulfillment in work that spans disciplines and brings together individuals and teams with the same end goal.
My resume is broad, but the connecting theme is an interest and passion for design, project management and building connections. My years as a business owner instilled a work ethic and thoughtful dedication that I carry with me to all endeavors. The switch in industry (to baking) did not stifle my sense of style and love of design. It persisted in the logo creation, food packaging design and client packaging I provided in addition to the final product. The experience of growing a business from the ground up was challenging, terrifying and insanely rewarding.
